T-Lite 3 Day Diet Plan*

Be sure to take the T-Lite capsules seven days per week.
Remember…Do not snack between meals.

1st Day
Breakfast: 1/2 grapefruit, 1 slice of toast, 2 tbsp. peanut butter
Lunch: 1/2 cup of tuna, 1 slice of toast
Dinner: 2 slices of poultry white meat (about 3 ozs. total), 1 cup of string beans, 1 cup of peas or carrots, 1 small apple, 1 cup of low-fat frozen yogurt
Day 1 items can be eaten at any time or any order as long as you eat all the items for Day 1.
You can eat the foods for Day 1 as snacks in between.
2nd Day
Breakfast: 1 egg (hard boiled or poached), ½ banana, 1 slice of toast
Lunch: 1 cup of cottage cheese, 5 saltine crackers
Dinner: 1 skinless chicken breast (3ozs. total), 1 cup broccoli, ½ cup carrots, ½ banana, ½ cup lowfat frozen yogurt.
Day 2 items can be eaten at any time or any order as long as you eat all the items for Day 2.
You can use any of the foods for Day 2 as snacks between meals on while on Day 2.
3rd Day
Breakfast: 5 saltine crackers, 1oz. of cheddar cheese, 1 small apple
Lunch: 1 hard boiled egg, 1 slice of toast
Dinner: 1 cup of tuna, 1cup of peas or carrots, 1cup of cauliflower, ½ cantaloupe, ½ cup lowfat frozen yogurt.
Day 3 items can be eaten at any time or any order as long as you eat all the items for Day 3.
You can use the foods on Day 3 as snacks in between on Day 3.

How The Diet Works

The diet works on a chemical breakdown and is proven effective. The menu is to be used 3 consecutive days. Fluid consumption is important. Drink 8 glasses of water each day. You may have all the coffee, tea, sugar-free Kool-Aide, Crystal Light, and water that you like. Artificial sweetener and lemon juice may be used. Do not drink any sodas or carbonated beverages during the 3 day diet. The carbonation will slow down the chemical breakdown.

In 3 days you can lose up to 10 pounds. After 3 days of dieting you may eat normal foods for the next 4 days – but do not overdo it. Recommended calories on your 4 days off: Men 1700-2000 calories per day, Women: 1400-1600 calories per day. After 4 days of sensible eating, start back on your 3 day diet.

Food Item Substitution
Grapefruit: Pink grapefruit or an orange
Peanut Butter: Boiled or poached egg or banana
Cauliflower: Lettuce, cabbage, or broccoli
Tuna: Skinless chicken, turkey, or fish (avoid breaded fish and shellfish)
Yogurt: 4-6 ozs. Ice milk or skim milk
Cottage Cheese: Non-fat vanilla yogurt or 2 ozs. lowfat cheese
Broccoli: Cauliflower, cabbage, or lettuce
Cantaloupe: Watermelon, honeydew, melon, peaches, or pears
Eggs: 4-6 ozs. skim milk or 1 cup lowfat vanilla yogurt

Diet Tips
It is important that you drink 64 oz of water each day. Fresh or frozen fruits and vegetables are best. You may choose from either lowfat or fat free items. Bake, broil, boil, or grill your foods, do not fry. The order that you eat the foods in each day is up to you. Instead of leaving foods off the diet, use the substitution list. You may use 2 tbsp. of fat free milk in your coffee as creamer. Do not use sugar or sugar sweetened creamers. Shake-on seasonings may be used.
